How holiday pay is calculated
For regular hours, holiday pay is your normal pay for the days you take off. If your pay varies, use your average weekly pay over the last 52 weeks you were paid, including regular overtime, commission and bonuses.
For irregular-hours and part-year workers, holiday builds up at 12.07% of the hours worked in each pay period. Your employer may pay this as rolled-up holiday pay (12.07% added to each payslip).
